channels modes:

Channel mode +c
No colours
Prohibits mIRC & ANSI colour codes from being sent to a channel.
Channel mode +C
No channel CTCPs
Prohibits channel wide CTCPs.
Channel mode +d
Hidden users present
This mode is set automatically by a server when channel mode +D is cleared and there are still users hidden in the channel. It can only be set or cleared by the server and is removed automatically when all users become visible. Hidden users can be seen with /NAMES -d #channel.

Delayed join mode
Joining users will not be shown until they are opped/voiced, change the topic or speak. Note that hidden users will not be revealed when the mode is cleared. Hidden users can be seen with /NAMES -d #channel.

No channel notices
Prohibits the sending of channel notices.

No Part/Quit reasons
If a user is in any channel with channel mode +u set their quit and part messages are stripped, e.g. Quit (User definable quit message) would appear as Quit (Signed off).

Pe Quakenet sunt 3 tipuri de channel services Q, L, S (ca X pe Undernet).

L

L e pentru canale mici, de pana la 30 de utilizatori, are mai putine comenzi ca Q si rolul principal consta mai mult in a tine OP pe canal decat a dirija un canal. Prin L nu se poate da BAN sau pastra un Topic. Motiv - ca sa foloseasca putine resurse.
Pentru a aduce L pe canal e nevoie de 3 suporteri. Pentru a putea cere L, un user trebuie sa fie in topul primilor 5 operatori al canalului (adica unul din primii 5 care au avut cel mai mult OP pe canal). L vine imediat dupa inregistrare. Procedura se poate efectua cu comanda /msg R REQUESTBOT #channel
Access la L pe canal pot avea maxim 30 persoane, si lista de accese pentru o persoana e limitata la 20 de canale, adica puteti avea accese numai pe 20 de canale la L.
Nivelele de acces la L se masoara ca la eggdrop +nmov cu +ag flaguri pentru autoop/autovoice.
L are greeting ca la BOTi
Se pot inregistra mai multe canale de pe acelasi user.

Q este pentru canale mai mari, are mai multe comenzi ca L si este mai complex
Pentru a inregistra un user la Q: /msg Q hello mail mail
Pentru a cere Q pe canal, este necesar sa aveti L deja pe canal, iar canalul sa fie relativ mare.
Procedura se poate efectua tot prin comanda /MSG R REQUESTBOT #CHANNEL

S e pentru canale foarte mari, de 100+ utilizatori. Acesta este un anti-spam service. El detecta spam/flood si da KILL
Pentru a cere S pe canal este necesar sa aveti flag +n la L sau Q. Cererea se face prin comanda: /msg R REQUESTSPAMSCAN #channel
S se poate controla de pe siteul quakenet: http://auth.quakenet.org/

- Strict
  This mode makes S more harsher towards spam. Use this mode if you don't like any sort of spam in your channel.
